Breaking news from The Stack, Argo AI’s newsletter covering our latest autonomous vehicle updates, technology explainers, and job opportunities.
Today we announced the beginning of our driverless operations in Miami and Austin.
“Argo is first to go driverless in two major American cities, safely operating amongst heavy traffic, pedestrians and bicyclists in the busiest of neighborhoods,” said Bryan Salesky, Founder and CEO of Argo.
Watch our earliest riders, Argo employees, experience their first driverless trips.
This milestone in Miami and Austin demonstrates our ability to build an autonomy business in cities, where the demand for ridesharing and goods delivery services is highest. In addition to the technical achievement, we also have the product ecosystem, large operations footprint and expansion playbook, and go-to-market partnerships necessary to scale commercial driverless services across multiple markets.
