Dr. Deva Ramanan is a full professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Institute, where his research interests span computer vision, machine learning, and robotics. He was awarded the IEEE PAMI Young Researcher Award in 2012, named one of Popular Science’s Brilliant 10 researchers in 2012, named a National Academy of Sciences Kavli Fellow in 2013, won the Longuet-Higgins Prize in 2018 for fundamental contributions in computer vision, and was recognized for best paper awards in CVPR 2019 and ECCV 2020. He served as a program chair for CVPR 2018 and chair of the CVPR 2021 Award Committee.
